JWOC Middle Qualifier

It looks like it was a wet and cold day in Norway! For the middle qualifier, there are three separate heats (A, B, and C). The top 20 from each of those move onto the A final, the next 20 are in the B final, and the remaining athletes compete in the C final. Before the official maps are posted on the JWOC website, you can see there at World of O.

Below are the results for the Canadian team.

Special congratulations to Alexander Bergstrom for making the A final! He is the first Canadian male to make the A final for several years (I believe at least since the short was renamed the middle in 2004).

The middle final is tomorrow (July 7) with start times ranging from 10:30 -15:30 (Norway is 6 hours ahead of Ottawa and 9 hours ahead of Vancouver). Get ready to cheer on our athletes!
