Tori waiting to start her first ever WOC race! |
While you were sleeping, the sprint qualifications and finals happened! Robbie, Will, Damian, and Tori all ran for Canada, though none made it through to the finals.
A reminder that in the Sprint qualification there were 3 heats, with the top 15 of each heat going through to the final.
For Tori Owen, this was her first ever run at WOC! She had one mistake, and did an excellent job to finish only 3:39 behind Tove, who is a phenomenal Swedish orienteer!
On the men's side, the competition was incredibly tight. Will Critchley was the closest to qualifying, only 53 seconds back from heat winner Jonas Leandersson, and 8 seconds out of 15th place!
